Addyston Baptist has a heart for children. The church was actually founded in 1899 as a Sunday School outreach to the children of Addyston.
Today our ministries to children include age appropriate Sunday School classes, ABCKadets, ABCKids, and a Children’s service during the worship hour Sunday morning. Our Sunday night service is family integrated so that all ages have the opportunity to worship together.
Vacation Bible School is an annual event, held in June each year. You can expect to find most of the church pitching in on this special experience.
Addyston Baptist also hosts a camp ministry each summer for children ages 8-14. This four day long camp (Monday – Friday) is directed by Pastor Philip duBarry. This is a highlight of our church calendar.
Wondering what “ABCKIDS” actually is?
We admire programs like Word of Life, AWANA, and Kings Kids, but in order to reach our community we have designed a similar program that we are able to offer with no cost to participants. Our church gives this program as a gift to our community.
In ABCKIDS, we sing, have a lesson from God’s Word, then break up into small groups to memorize Bible verses. The evening ends with a game or snack time. If you would like to know more about this program, give us a call or send us an email. We’d love for your child to attend!
